It is a hulking homemade beast, roughly similar to your Mike Crompton in the shape of the frame, though with a different warping pattern and not as beautifully finished. The little Ashford loom is very portable, and it's surprising how fast you can weave a simple band.<br /><br />Deborah, you'd not believe how many uses inkle bands have! I like them everywhere, e.g. bookmarks, tying bows around presents, wear as a sash or belt.
