In order to read, I need to be able to concentrate for at least half an hour and take in what is written.  I can do that now. The best bit is that having bought this book, there's a long list of other books I thought I might want that I can now say I don't need.  I might borrow them from the library instead(!) but I have got myself a reference book that covers many different knitting techniques. The weft yarn is Araucania Yarn, hand dyed, from Chile. I have 10 treadles.I had heard of universal tie up before, and although I could understand easily how with a jack loom you can tie one shaft to one treadle, I did not see how on earth it could work for a countermarch.
